
Meta has appointed Thao Griffiths as Director of Public Policy for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV), expanding leadership in the Asia region. Based in Singapore, she brings two decades of expertise in global policy engagement. She has handled US-Vietnam relations for two decades and has received personal recommendations from renowned leaders like Bill Clinton, Senator Patrick Leahy, and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for her contributions to diplomacy.
At Meta, Thao tackles critical issues such as privacy, safety, and freedom of expression across rapidly dynamic digital ecosystems. She has served as Commissioner fpr the International Commission on Missing Persons and sits on the Board of Trustees of VII Foundation. Thao has done her master’s degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and American University in Washington, DC.
She has previously worked with Microsoft as the Advisor of Global Strategic Accounts and Country Manager at Voxina Inc. Thao’s work has been featured in CNN, BCC, and The New York Times, highlighting her influence on regional and global policy.
