Meta India appointed Aman Jain as its new Head of Public Policy. This appointment will steer the company’s public policy strategy and regulatory engagement across India, reporting directly to Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy for the Asia Pacific (APAC).
With over 20 years of experience in technology platforms, government engagement, and international organizations. He has also served as Director of Public Policy at Amazon, in senior leadership roles at Google INDIA, and as Country Head for Government Affairs & Public Policy. Aman Jain completed dual master’s degrees in Public Administration and International Relations from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at The Syracuse University Alumni Club of New York City (Big Apple Orange).
Throughout his career, Aman has worked at the intersection of tech, government, and regulation. His deep expertise in public policy, emerging technologies, and regulatory affairs positions him to support Meta’s vision for a more inclusive, trusted, and future-ready digital ecosystem in India. In welcoming the appointment, Simon Milner emphasized that Aman’s appointment will enhance Meta’s engagement with regulators and industry partners and strengthen the company’s leadership in the APAC region.
In his new role, he will also serve as a key member of Meta India’s leadership team, contributing to strategic policy direction in one of the company’s most important global markets.
