Citi has appointed Amit Kasodekar as the Senior Vice President, bringing 25 years of leadership experience in global banking, regulatory compliance, operational resilience and military operations. In his new role, he will be managing compliance risk and performing control testing.
Before this role, he has served as the Vice President at Citi, where he led risk and controls, regulatory management and manager control assessment programs. He has worked with JPMorgan Chase & Co, for 5 years leading strategy, regulatory reporting, and data management.
Before transitioning to the corporate sector, Kasodekar served in the Indian Army for 22 years in senior operational roles. As a Chief Operating Officer and Commanding Officer, he has the expertise of managing large-scale operations involving security, logistics, human resources and emergency response in high-risk environments.
With his extensive skills in multiple segments of banking operations, makes him an ideal candidate for this position at Citi.
