Babitha B P joined the State Bank of India as the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer – General Manager (Infrastructure Security and Special Projects). With over two decades of expertise in the It and information security field, she has worked with several banking and finance companies, implementing her knowledge and driving excellence.
Before joining SBI, she had worked with ReBIT | Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. | ReBIT | Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt. Ltd. ., CSB Bank Limited, and SunTec Business Solutions. Her consistent efforts primarily focused on enhancing security systems, better risk management, and leading cybersecurity initiatives.
In her new role, Babitha will be focusing on improving the bank’s infrastructure security and key cybersecurity programs. This is a strategic move towards building a better digital security, offering top-notch protection from cyber fraud.
