
In recent years, the craze for bubble tea has increased, especially among Gen-Z. The renowned Mumbai-based bubble tea startup, Boba Bhai, has reported an increase in revenue. The startup has reached 30 crores in March of FY25. The increasing popularity of bubble tea and the expansion of the store network contributed to the growth.
Boba Bhai was founded in 2023 by Dhruv Kohli and gained immense popularity for their products. The startup primarily focuses on serving Korean street food with a blend of global and local cuisine. The brand’s diverse menu and innovative flavours resonate with the evolving taste of the urban consumers.
Boba Bhai is available across India in prime locations like Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Mangalore, Udaipur, Mumbai, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The brand has also successfully made an online presence in the quick commerce section on Zomato, Swiggy, and Blinkit. Kohli, in an interview, revealed that the startup is to aggressively expand in quick commerce and is expected to gain 40% revenue from these platforms.
Boba Bhai is aiming to expand the store presence to 150 by the end of 2025. Apart from the store expansion, by FY25, the startup is also aiming to target revenue of 70 to 100 crore, according to the founder.
