Boeing welcomed Sarma Chillara as the Executive Director of Human Resources for India and South Asia. In this new role, Sarma will be responsible for HRstrategy and workforce development across the region, with a focus on fostering an inclusive culture while boosting high-performance teams. He succeeds Ajay Sharma, who now serves as Executive Director, HR, for Boeing Europe, Israel & Ukraine.
Sarma brings nearly two decades of expertise and has worked with multiple renowned companies, like SkodaAutoVolkswagen India, BCG, and Citi. A recognized people leader, he has consistently driven strategic HR initiatives aligned with business growth and transformation.

An alumnus of the Welingkar Institute of Management, Chillara has also completed executive programs at The Wharton School and the University of Michigan, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and leadership excellence.
