Competition Commission Of India (CCI) approved the merger of Aster DM Healthcare and CARE Hospitals, Quality CARE India Limited (QCIL), paving the way for Aster DM Quality Care Limited. This entity will be controlled by Aster Promoters and Blackstone.

This merged entity will become one of the largest private hospital networks. The strategic consolidation will establish one of India’s top three hospital chains. A significant step towards developing the country’s healthcare infrastructure.

This newly merged entity will operate 38 hospitals, accounting for more than 10,000+ beds in 27 cities. The aim is to expand the capacity to 3500 beds by the 2027 fiscal year.

Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, Azad Moopen Dr, expressed that “the CCI approval is an important milestone.
