Laimon Wong joins Citi as Head of Markets Senior Relationship Management for Asia North and South and Australia, effective from September 2025. In her new role, she will be working closely with the US lender product partners across wealth, banking, and international.
Wong has worked with UBS, Deutsche Bank, The Zuellig Group, Standard Chartered Bank, Investor AB, and Merrill Lynch. Her 25+ years of experience in the financial services sector is a leverage to Citi, as Wong brings a deep understanding and expertise of the industry.
Wong worked with UBS for 10 years and has made significant contributions to the company. Her exceptional expertise in customer relationship management, negotiations, business relationships, financial advisory, broking, and investment sales shaped her leadership skills in the financial services industry.
This strategic leadership implementation will bring a lot of insight to Citi, which the company aims to leverage in building a strong footprint and offering better relationship management with the clients across North and South Asia and Australia.
