
Databricks has appointed Jeremy Cooper as Vice President of Marketing for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ). This appointment will strengthen its regional leadership team as the company accelerates its growth across one of the fastest-expanding technology markets globally.
With more than 20 years of global marketing leadership experience from high-growth cloud and enterprise software companies. Most recently, he led marketing for Amazon Web Services (AWS) across Asia Pacific and Japan. He also held senior positions at Edelman, CA Technologies, Siebel Systems, Oracle, Salesforce, Google, Clear Dynamics, opencampus.sh, and LinkedIn, helping build category-defining brands and scale international go-to-market programmes.
His academic qualifications are from Bond University in a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce. In his new role, he will lead Databricks’ marketing strategy and execution across the APJ region, focusing on expanding brand presence, driving revenue growth, and accelerating pipeline generation.
Well-known for building category-defining brands and scaling go-to-market strategies across international markets, he has led large, diverse teams and driven strong revenue and pipeline outcomes. His appointment reflects Databricks’ commitment to meeting the surging regional demand for data intelligence and AI-enabled solutions.
