Egis welcomes Kate Drews as the CEO for APAC
Egis Group is a global leader in consulting and construction engineering services. Kate Drews has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the Asia-Pacific region. The appointment is a strategic move that aligns with the company’s ambition to expand its footprint in the region.
Drews has over 25 years of experience in the infrastructure industry with cross-border expertise. She worked with Powerlink Queensland, SJ Group, SMEC, AECOM, GHD, The APP Group, Precision Aviation Group Australia, and several other companies. With her extensive knowledge and proven track record of over two decades, she is an ideal fit for this role.
Drews expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, saying, “Asia’s pressing needs for rapid urbanisation and sustainable solutions make it a hub for world-leading innovation.”
The strategic appointment comes with Egis’ strong investments in the APAC region to support its growth. The company has acquired a few companies, like 10 Design, Inhabit®, and Sunland. These are some of the top firms in architecture, sustainability consulting, and services consulting.
