The craft alcoholic beverage startup Feline Spirits has recently raised ₹5.2 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The capital raised will be used to expand the product portfolio and enter the market with better options.
Prabhat Sharma and Rohit Saxena founded Feline Spirits. The company specialises in handcrafted vodka, whisky, and brandy, emphasizing authentic ingredients and transparent distilling practices. They target the premium and mass-premium segments of the alcohol market.
In FY25, the brand generated a revenue of ₹25 crore by selling over 4 lakh bottles. They operate in eight states and have a customer base of more than 2 million. The brand hold operational licenses in both public and private sectors.
India has an alcohol market value of $60 billion and will be worth over $100 billion by 2032. Globally, the market is expected to grow to $2 trillion by 2027.
“India’s alcohol market has long been split between low-quality mass products and overpriced international brands. Feline Spirits bridges this gap by offering premium, handcrafted liquor that’s high in quality, thoughtfully designed, and reasonably priced.”, said the IVP Co-founder, Ankur Mittal.
