JSW Steel appointed Sandiep Batra as President & Chief Human Resources Officer – Steel Corporate. With over three decades of experience across multiple sectors, including airports, digital services, telecom, retail, manufacturing, and defense, Sandiep brings a rich and diverse HR leadership background that positions him strongly for his new role.
Before joining JSW Steel, Sandiep served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd, where he was heading people initiatives across eight airports and several joint ventures. He also served Landmark Group, Vodafone Idea Limited, Vodafone, Bharti Teletech Limited, Cendant Corporation, and Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd. He led strategic HR functions including organisation design, digital HR integration, capability and leadership development, and workforce engagement.
An alumnus of the University of Delhi and Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, Sandiep Batra is recognized for his strategic vision, operational depth, and people-first leadership style. His appointment underscores JSW Steel’s commitment to building a future-ready organisation supported by robust talent systems and an agile workforce.
