Arfat Qayyum is appointed as the new Senior Executive Officer at UBP – Union Bancaire Privée for its Dubai office. With over two decades of expertise in financial services, Arfat has served multiple financial institutions over the years.
He has worked with CreditSuisse, Al Khalij Commercial Bank, Royal Bank Financial Group, and Manulife Financial. At Royal Bank as Director of Wealth Management, he directed the development of a new wealth management business in Canada.
During his tenure at Al Khalij Commercial Bank, he was leading the organisation as the Head of Private Banking, where he headed the bank’s product management team, consumer banking products, as well as wealth management of private clients.
“As SEO of the Dubai office, his mission will be to drive UBP’s growth ambitions in the MEA region, where we continue to see strong demand from UHNWIs, institutional clients, and family offices for bespoke wealth management and investment solutions,” shared the company in a statement.
