Manish Syag has been appointed as Managing Director at Mars.

With over two decades of leadership experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, with deep expertise in sales leadership, business expansion, and strategic growth. He served as Chief Sales Officer at Mars Petcare, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth trajectory. He also held senior leadership roles as a
General Manager – Customer Development at Unilever, and spent 15+ years of his professional career at GSK Consumer Healthcare India, most recently serving as a General Manager South and contributing significantly to sales strategy, customer development, and operational excellence across diverse markets.
He holds his academic qualifications from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and ESCP Business School. In his new role, he will focus on driving Mars growth agenda, strengthening operational capabilities, and expanding access to trusted brands, aligned with the company’s purpose of advancing its long-term vision in India.
