DP World has announced the appointment of Mark Khayat as Vice President – Freight Forwarding Sales. This appointment underscores DP World’s focus on strengthening its freight forwarding business and supporting growth across global supply chain.
Mr. Khayat brings more than three decades of experience in international sales, freight forwarding, logistics, and business development. He has also served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at UNIQUE Logistics International, where he led commercial activities and helped grow the company’s global sales footprint.
Mr. Khayat held senior leadership roles at Fulfillment IQ, serving as SVP Commercial Operations and earlier as Vice President of Commercial Operations for North America. In these roles, he focused on expanding operations, improving service delivery, and driving commercial performance.
He has served at United Parcel Service (UPS), where he worked in various senior commercial and sales positions across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. He also holds experience as a business consultant at NNT Consulting LLC and as a business owner at Timeless Truth Cosmetics, showing versatility across industries.
Mr. Khayat holds a degree in Economics from the University of Southern , Los Angeles (UCLA). Now, in his new role at DP World, Mr. Khayat will be responsible for driving freight forwarding sales strategy, supporting customer growth, and strengthening the company’s market position in global freight forwarding solutions. His focus will be on helping teams to win new business, improve customer engagement, and deliver seamless logistics services.
