Marriott Tech Accelerator appointed Shameel Sharma as the Managing Director of its Global Capability Center. In this strategic role, Shameel will lead Marriott’s efforts to accelerate digital transformation and enhance operations across its global hospitality ecosystem. 

Shameel brings extensive experience in enterprise transformation, global delivery models, and multi-functional operations. He had led multiple companies before joining MTA, including QRATER, Dibber, Innova Solutions, Kantar Operations, WNS Global Services, Microsoft, Concentrix, and more. With 30 years of extensive experience, he has successfully managed cross-industry transformation programs and built high-performing teams. 

At QRATER, he partnered with organisations to establish and scale GCC operations in India, creating high-performing, culturally aligned workplaces that ranked among Great Places to Work. During his tenure at Dibber as Managing Director, he was responsible for handling multiple functions like HR, finance, marketing, IT, engineering, and many more. He was also the Interim CEO at Dibber Schools India, generating an annual revenue of 1.8 crore 

As Managing Director, Shameel will focus on building MTA into a high-impact capability centre, leveraging tools and delivering solutions to support Marriott’s international footprint. His appointment highlights a commitment to strengthening the company’s technology and operations.
