
Rajiv Chaturvedi has been appointed as the new President and Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV).
Chaturvedi will be succeeding Venkateswaran, who held the position. DICV produces and sells trucks from 9 to 55 tonnes in India, headquartered in Tamil Nadu.
Chaturvedi has worked with several companies like HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Private Limited, Tata Engineering & Locomotive Company Limited., and more. With over two decades of experience in the commercial vehicle sector, he brings a lot of knowledge and expertise.
Under his leadership, Hyundai Construction has grown 20% on a year-on-year basis and increased the operating profit by 200% in the same period. He served Tata Hitachi Construction for six years as the National Head. His experience in the commercial vehicle industry is diverse and that’s why he makes an ideal fit as the President and CBO at Daimler India.
Chaturvedi’s appointment comes at a crucial time, aligning the goals as the new fiscal year starts. He is expected to drive growth and create a significant impact on Daimler in the competitive commercial vehicle market in India.
