

Standard Chartered Appoints Scott Chang as Head of Philanthropy for Asia
Standard Chartered Global Private Bank has appointed Scott C. as the Head of Philanthropy for Asia in its Wealth Planning & Advisory Board. Based in Hong Kong, Chang will closely collaborate with relationship managers and wealth planners to deliver philanthropic advisory services, along with giving structured solutions to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
He brings to the table 22 years of experience in philanthropy and succession planning. He had worked with several companies, including Ford Motor Company, Ford Philanthropy, J.P. Morgan Private Bank, BSR, and more. Leading the organisations in corporate communications, social impact measurement, environmental policy, social entrepreneurship, and more with his extraordinary leadership.
Chang was the Executive Director and Senior Philanthropy Advisor at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he successfully led philanthropy strategy and internal and external stakeholder engagement.
In this new position, Chang will report to Mike Tan, the Global Head of Wealth Planning and Family Advisory at Standard Chartered Global Private Bank. The appointment of Chang sheds light on providing holistic and integrated wealth planning solutions to the client across Asia by StanChart.
This strategic move aligns with the bank’s initiative to enhance wealth management services, especially in legacy planning and philanthropic engagement with UHNW clients across the region.
