
Goodera has appointed Sumit Agarwal as its Chief Financial Officer, marking a strategic addition to the leadership team. With more than two decades of experience spanning fintech, e-commerce, and technology-driven businesses, Sumit brings strong financial expertise.
Before joining Goodera, he had worked with MakeMyTrip as the Senior Vice President of Fintech (TripMoney), where he was building TripMoney under MMT. He was responsible for consumer lending, insurance, and digital forex solutions through BookMyForex, handling long-term strategy and governance.
An entrepreneur at heart, Sumit co-founded LittleInternetPrivateLimited, which was later acquired by Paytm. Also, he was in the founding team of ngpay, which Flipkart later acquired. His versatile experience in consulting and fintech makes him an ideal candidate for this role. At the beginning of his career, he worked with Wipro and EY, creating a strong foundation in finance, risk management, and business transformation.
At Goodera, Sumit will be responsible for scaling financial strategy, strengthening governance, and supporting the business goals of the company.
