
Karen Ong became the Chief Marketing Officer at Universal Robina Corporation, where she will be expanding the brand’s footprint.
Karen brings over two decades of experience and has worked with multiple companies. She has led companies including Universal Robina Munchy’s, Fonterra, Johnson & Johnson, and Colgate-Palmolive. She is currently serving as the Senior Managing Director at URMunchy’s Malaysia. She has led the organization in top leadership psoitions like Marketing and Customer Marketing Director and Marketing Director of Digital for South East Asia at Johnson & Johnson.
Under her guidance, the company has expanded multiple snack and confectionery brands, with a focus on strategic pricing, operations, and brand consolidation. In her new role, she will be supervising the marketing operations like customer insights, advertising, public relations, digital marketing, and more.
