Ltd. has announced the appointment of Vinay Raina as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), marking a strategic move as the company intensifies its focus on New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and premium mobility solutions. Raina’s appointment comes at a critical juncture for the JSW–SAIC joint venture, which is transitioning from leadership restructuring to execution on ground.
In his new role, Raina will spearhead sales strategy, channel development, and dealer network performance, while also driving the expansion of MG Select—the company’s experience-driven retail format. His leadership is expected to reinforce JSW MG’s commitment to customer-centric innovation and bolster its premium retail presence.
With an extensive background in automotive sales and marketing, Raina brings valuable expertise to the role. He previously held key positions at VECommercialVehicles Ltd. as Manager – Marketing and at GrindwellNortonLtd, part of Saint-Gobain Abrasives, as a Senior Sales Engineer. This blend of technical and commercial experience strengthens JSW MG’s leadership as it accelerates growth in the highly competitive Indian EV space.
Raina’s appointment is set to play a pivotal role in executing JSW MG’s NEV strategy and establishing the brand as a frontrunner in India’s evolving mobility landscape.
