VINFAST appointedTapan Kumar Ghoshh as CEO. With more than 28 years of experience in the automotive industry, Tapan brings a wealth of leadership expertise across sales, strategy, and operations to steer the company’s growth in the rapidly evolving Indian EVmarket.
Before joining VinFast, Tapan held senior leadership roles at HyundaiMotorCompany India Ltd., TataMotors, MarutiSuzukiIndia Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (Automotive and Farm Equipment Business), HondaCarsIndia Ltd., and HindustanMotors Ltd. At Hyundai Motor India, he served as Vice President and Head of National Sales, where he led nationwide new vehicle sales, crafted sales strategies, managed dealer networks, and oversaw logistics and used car operations, driving significant business expansion.
Earlier in his career, Tapan contributed to market share growth as Zonal Business Head for Western and Eastern India, while also gaining extensive experience in customer engagement, dealer development, and regional operations through senior roles at Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki.
