ECL Finance Limited welcomes Ajay Khurana as the Managing Director
Ajay Khurana joined ECL Finance Ltd as the new Managing Director of the company from 1st April effective. Khurana has 35 years of experience in the banking sector and has expertise in risk management, customer banking, and digital transformation.
He has worked with companies like Vijaya Bank, Syndicate Bank , and Bank of Baroda. He has led several leadership positions and made notable contributions to strengthening the organizations.
He has also worked with renowned financial institutions like the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) and Indo Zambia Bank. Over the course of his career, he has demonstrated a strong focus on growth and governance.
In this role, Khurana will be responsible for scaling the MSME business, giving operational efficiency a boost through advanced tech, and maintaining governance and compliance.
This is a strategic transformation that ECL Finance is going through. The organization is shifting the traditional wholesale lending to a more dynamic and retail-driven approach. Over the years, the company has reduced 85% of its wholesale portfolio and decreased debt by 80%. Transforming the firm into an MSME lending model.
