Cashfree Payments, a leading payments and API banking company, has announced the appointment of Piyush Anchliya as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He succeeds Vikas Guru, who held the position for nearly four years and will support the transition process.
Anchliya brings over 15 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, strategy, and M&A, having held senior roles at Barclays and the Bandhan Group in India and the U.S. Prior to this appointment, he served as CFO at Bandhan Asset Management Company.
An alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Anchliya will lead Cashfree Payments’ financial strategy and operations as the company continues to scale. He will report directly to Akash S., Co-founder and CEO of Cashfree Payments.
The company, founded in 2015, serves over 800,000 businesses with payment and banking solutions and was recently valued at $700 million following a $53 million funding round.
