Amundi welcomes new Asia Insurance Specialist Jian Xiong
One of the largest asset management firms in Europe, Amundi appointed Jian Xiong as the Asia Insurance Specialist. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing the insurance solutions strategy in the region.
With over 15 years of experience, Xiong brings knowledge and expertise from the insurance and finance industries to the role. He has worked with reputable companies such as Deutsche Bank Securities, ANZ, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, China Life Insurance Singapore, and Aberdeen.
He was the Senior Solutions Director of Insurance at Aberdeen, where he focused on the insurance strategies in the APAC region. Xiong also led China Life Insurance as the Head of Investment for 6 years.
In this new position, Xiong will be supervising the development and implementation of investment solutions for the unique needs of insurance clients in India. Xiong’s appointment highlights Amundi’s dedication to providing value-added services to clients around the Asia region and strengthening the presence of the company in the insurance market.
By leveraging Xiong’s expertise and experience, Amundi aims to deliver solutions to support the insurers’ investment objectives. Amundi aligns with the strategic objective of expanding and establishing itself as a leader in asset management services for insurance companies in the Asian market.
