Vivek Abrol has been appointed Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd. Marking a strategic leadership transition, the company aims to accelerate growth in consumer energy solutions and sustainable technologies.
With over 25 years of leadership experience across FMCG, stationery, and electrical sectors, Vivek brings deep expertise in driving profitable business growth and transformational change. He served as Production Manager at Cadbury Schweppes Bottling Group, and later began his career with ITC Limited as National Sales Manager, where he led end-to-end operations and delivered significant business expansion. He also served as Business Head at Pidilite Industries Limited and as CEO at R R Kabel Limited.
He completed his academic qualifications from INSEAD and the University of Mumbai. In his new role, he will focus on driving profitable growth across the company’s portfolio, advancing its evolution into a comprehensive consumer energy fulfilment platform, and accelerating the expansion of solar and sustainable energy solutions.
As the Luminous aims to strengthen its capability to deliver innovative, customer-centric energy solutions and pursue long-term value creation in India’s dynamic energy landscape. This appointment will steer the company into its next phase of expansion across inverter, battery, solar, and integrated energy platforms.
