The leading IT service firm in India, Tata Consultancy Servicess appointed Aarthi Subramanian as the Executive Director – President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the next five years.
Subramanian is working at TATA SONS LIMITED currently, the principal investment holding company of the Tata Group. In this role, she has been supervising the Tata Group companies by enhancing their operational efficiency and customer engagement.
She has over three decades of experience in the Tata Group, where she held leadership positions like Executive Director and Global Head of Delivery, Excellence, Governance, and Compliance. Over the course of her career, she has managed operations and technology and strengthened TCS’ delivery and transformation capabilities.
In her early career, she headed the delivery for TCS Retail and Consumer Packed Goods handling the strategic accounts and client relationships. Subramanian’s appointment underscores the focus of the organization for long-term growth and strategy while preparing the company for the next phase. Under her leadership, TCS will step into a rapid transition when the entire IT service industry is going through a massive transformation.
