Licious, the D2C meat and seafood delivery brand, appointed Gaurav Mathur as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who will be succeeding Ajit Narayanan’s position. This strategic move will enhance the customer experience and streamline the operations of the company.
Before joining Licious, he worked with HealthPlix, WhiteHat Jr, Flipkart, Oracle, FICO, and more. He led these organisations with his expertise in software development and delivered solutions that scaled the business. He served as the Head of Software Engineering at HealthPlix, where he developed scalable healthcare technology solutions.
In his announcement on LinkedIn, Mathur expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “As a passionate believer in the power of technology to shape industries and elevate everyday experiences, I’m excited to be part of a mission-driven team that’s redefining the way India consumes meat and seafood. Licious has always stood for trust, quality, and innovation — and I’m humbled to contribute to this next phase of transformation.”
Ajit Narayanan also thanked the founders of Licious in his farewell message as he moved on to a new phase. He has been associated with Licious since October 2022 and scaled the technology of the business.
