Prabhakaran Balakrishnan Nair to Head Cipla as Global Chief Manufacturing Officer
Cipla Limited welcomed Prabhakaran Balakrishnan Nair as the new Global Chief Manufacturing Officer. Nair has three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and this strategic appointment will strengthen the global manufacturing capabilities and operational excellence.
Before joining Cipla, he had worked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Ipca Laboratories Limited, ACG Worldwide, Cadila Global, and Encube Ethicals. Nair has led the organisations with immense expertise and has held top positions. His immense experience in process engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain management makes him the ideal fit for the role.
In this new role, Nair will be leading the company’s global manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with international quality standards and regulatory requirements. He will also be overseeing the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies. Ensuring and enhancing practices that improve productivity and sustainability across Cipla’s manufacturing network.
