Paytm Appoints Ramana Kumar as CEO for Middle East Business
Our Middle East business’s chief executive officer is Ramana Kumar A. In addition to his extensive experience in fostering innovation and company expansion in the financial services industry, he has more than two decades of leadership experience in the fintech, payments, and banking industries.
Prior to coming to work for us, Mr. Kumar served as the original CEO of Magnati, a prominent payments provider in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and a division of First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), where he oversaw important projects to update payment systems and spur corporate expansion. In his capacity as Executive Vice President, he was also in charge of FAB’s digital banking and payments divisions. He has previously served at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) as the Managing Director and Head of Global Transaction Banking – Product and Business Management.
